Louis XV gold Louis d'Or Mirliton 1724-K UNC Details (Saltwater Damage) NGC, Bordeaux mint, KM470.10, Gad-339. Large palms variety. Touches of golden luster around the devices, with the surfaces displaying very light porosity. Very attractive. Likely from the 1725 Le Chameau shipwreck, though we have no documentation to support this. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
