Lower Canada silver Specimen "THS & WM Molson" Sou Token 1837 SP61 NGC, Br-562, LC-16A1 (see note to LC-16). Reeded edge. Reverse rotated 90 degrees. A very few pieces were struck in silver for presentation purposes, with only 3-6 pieces known. Bold details, with scattered silvery mint luster and no significant flaws. The only silver example of this type we have seen. Exceedingly rare. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
