Blacksmith brass 1/2 Penny Token ND Genuine NGC, BL-12 (this piece), Wood-17 (R5). Plain edge. Coin alignment. The scarcest variety of the Wood-13 through Wood 18 series. Possibly the finest known example of the type. The weakness of the obverse strike is diagnostic of the variety, and many examples are barely identifiable. A lightly penciled number "17" is in the left obverse field. VF. Sold with old collector envelope detailing provenance.
