Für die Stadt Kremna ist der Kult der Artemis Ephesia durch eine Inschriften-Stele aus der Mitte des 3. Jhs. belegt. Darin übergibt ein Priester der Ephesischen Artemis das Amt zu Lebzeiten an seine Tochter weiter (s. G. Horsley, The Mysteries of Artemis Ephesia in Pisidia: A New Inscribed Relief, Anatolian Studies, Bd. 42, 1992, S. 119-150).
The worship of Artemis Ephesia at Cremna is proven by a stele dating from the middle of the 3rd cent. AD. honouring Trokondas, who has ceased from his office as priest of Artemis Ephesia while his daughter Artemis is spoken of as the current holder of the priesthood. (See further G. Horsley, The Mysteries of Artemis Ephesia in Pisidia: A New Inscribed Relief, Anatolian Studies, Vol. 42, 1992, p. 119-150).
