Rx: FORTVNA REDVX S C Fortuna Redux seated l. holding rudder and cornucopia, wheel under seat. The reverse type looks forward to Gordian's return to Rome from his Eastern expedition of 243-4, a hope that was not to be fulfilled.Excellent portrait. MS
