Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Zygmunt III Waza AR Mule Trojak (3 Grosze). Kraków/Olkusz mint, AD 1595. SIG•III•D•G•REX•P•M•D•L•, crowned and cuirassed bust to right, wearing ruff / GROS•ARG TR•R•POLONI, denomination and armorial above, date and mintmaster below. Apparently unpublished, cf. Iger O.95 for this rev., and Antykwariat Numizmatyczny - Michal Niemczyk 18, lot 280 for a coin with a similar Kraków-style bust to left. 1.58g, 18mm, 6h.

Good Very Fine. Unpublished, and possibly unique.

From the inventory of a European dealer.

Though the reverse of this coin clearly bears the mintmark of Olkusz, the obverse is of a style not seen at this mint but which is prevalent at the mint of Kraków. Interestingly, this mule example is very similar to the unique specimen offered by Antykwariat Numizmatyczny - Michal Niemczyk (Auction 18, 15 December 2018, lot 280) except for the bust facing the opposite direction.
