Iran Bank Markazi 10,000 Rials ND (1972-73) Pick 96acts Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Simply beautiful pastel hues replace the green schemes used for the issued banknote. 10,000 Rials was a large sum of money in the 1970s, making surviving examples scarce regardless of the format. A hole punched cancellation and red overprints are seen on this Harrison & Sons creation. PMG mentions mounting remnants, which are extremely faint but visible along the front left margin. It is worth mentioning that the vast majority of these Color Trials were adhered to a presentation book, which makes the mount remnants commonplace.
