South Africa Standard Bank of British South Africa Limited 5 Pounds ND (1870's) Pick S580p1; S580p2 Front and Back Proofs PMG Uncirculated 61 (2). A pair of scarce Proofs from the Standard Bank's earlier issues that included "Of British South Africa" under its name. For later issues this line was removed, and only read "South Africa". The earlier issues for Standard Bank are almost never in issued form, which gives whoever wins this lot, a rare opportunity to fill a gap in their collection.
