Anv: Allegories of Spain armed on the right with a shield, with a cross on two worlds F VII and Castillo y León, and of America on the left with a feather crown, quiver and holding a sacrificial knife and a crown of roses, behind sacks with coins, under Europe, cannons and weapons and behind mountains, above legend: RESTAURADORA DE LA EUROPA, in exergue: AN AMERICAN FRIEND OF THE / ORDER THE IDEO AND PROMO- / SAW: TOMAS SURIA LA / I RECORD IN MEXICO / YEAR OF 1809. Rev: Mesa en a podium between two columns with the three members of the Supreme Board of Spain and the Indies studying plans and maps. To his right, a lion with two globes, in front of the globe, anchor, sword, book, plow and spinning wheel, above the drapery canopy, above the legend: EVERYTHING RENAISSANCE, in exergue: TO IMMORTALITY / FOR THE BLESSED INSTALLATION / OF THE SUPREME CENTRAL BOARD / OF SPAIN AND INDIAS, DONE / ON SEPTEMBER 25, 1808 NE. AU. Marquitas on the obverse. Edge blow. Nice iridescent tone. Beautiful and rare specimen.
