M296j – 1 Peso Banco Nacional de México, 1885. F+. 155 x 70mm. Serie O/L. Impreso por American Bank Note Company, del 01 de Enero de 1885. Resello San Luis Potosí, tanto por tinta como por perforación. Múltiples dobleces, desgaste generalizado. Es de mencionar que este ejemplar es la primera fecha de emisión del banco (establecido apenas en junio de 1884), la primera tirada de impresión para esta denominación se fabricó en septiembre de 1884, la sucursal de San Luis Potosí fue de las fundadoras, con las que inicio el banco. Por último, es de destacar firma como interventor del gobierno Manuel Romero Rubio, importante político y revolucionario del siglo XIX, quien también firmo los billetes del Banco Nacional Mexicano

Finally, it is noteworthy that Manuel Romero Rubio, an important politician and revolutionary of the 19th century, signed as government inspector, who also signed the banknotes of the Banco Nacional de Mexico.
