Divus Vespasian. Died AD 79. AR Denarius (18mm, 2.61 g, 6h). "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Rome mint. Struck under Titus, AD 80-81. Laureate head right / Slow quadriga left, with tensa (car) in form of small temple surmounted by statuette of quadriga flanked by Victories holding palm fronds and wreaths; car ornamented with figures of Minerva advancing left and brandishing spear, and garlands. RIC II.1 361 (Titus); Hendin 1585; RSC 146. Toned, some scratches, marks, and edge tests. Fine.
