PHRYGIA, Laodicea ad Lycum. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Early to mid-3rd century AD. Æ (21mm, 5.88 g, 6h). Draped bust of Dionysus right, thyrsus over left shoulder / Mask of Silenus lying right on cista mystica, around which a serpent is entwined. BMC 96; Lindgren & Kovacs 986 (this coin). Dark green and brown patina which is worn through to bare metal in areas. Good Fine.
