A•DNO•' FACTV•' EST • ISTVD • ET • EST• MIRAB•' IN • OCVLIS • NRS, shield atop Tudor rose, 15.38g, 5h, m.m. escallop [over A both sides] (Brown and Comber A10; Schneider I, 779; North 2003; Spink 2529), cleaned and the edges made round, with the portrait smoothed in antiquity, nonetheless an imposing example of Tudor England's most indomitable Queen, fine to very fine and an obtainable example of this usually prohibitively costly series.
