Charles I (1625-1649), Group B, Unite, Class Ia, 1629-1630, Tower (under King), second elongated bust left, value behind, rev. crowned square-topped and garnished shield, 8.98g, 8h, m.m. heart (Lockett 2183 this coin; Schneider II, 128; North 2148; Spink 2687), only faint traces of doubling and die breaks to peripheries, otherwise a superbly rendered portrait for issue, a handsomely bold very fine, and rare in this exemplary condition.
