VF35 | Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1663 XV, second laureate and draped bust right, rev. revised crowned cruciform shields, eight strings to Irish harp, edge lettered downwards, star stops, 29.47g, 6h (Spink 3354; ESC 353 [22]), a hint of flecking before brow and in third quarter of reverse, otherwise pleasantly toned, a pleasing very fine, the portrait and central devices uniformly struck and much above average for type, rare thus, in NGC holder, graded VF35 (Cert. #6135245-001).
