João Prince Regent Counterstamped 80 Reis ND (1809) VF35 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM294, LMB-252. Displaying shield counterstamp (XF Standard) on a Jose I 75 Reis 1760-R (cf. KM294). By far the scarcest host date from the Rio mint in this series, notably missing from the Paulistana Collection, with the only other specimen we have offered (from the Guariba Collection) containing a large flan crack. NGC presently records that this is among the finest of the type they have seen.
