Hannover. Ernst August gold 10 Taler 1839-S MS65 NGC, Hannover mint, KM187, Fr-1171, D&S-102. A pristine example of this single-year emission, and one which is virtually never found in so well-kept of a conditional state as this. In fact, of only five examples seen between PCGS and NGC to date, the present offering is the only representative to even reach Mint State condition at all, not to mention its indisputable gem status, which places it leagues beyond the other handful encountered by the grading services. Rolling cartwheel brilliance illuminates satiny fields upon rotation, while only utterly superficial and trivial instances of handling cap the assigned grade. A unique opportunity.
