Augsburg. Free City Taler 1763-FAH MS64 Prooflike NGC, KM180, Dav-1928. With the name and titles of Franz I. Carefully struck and fully frosted, with only the most mild of stray contact marks suggesting any handling whatsoever since it left the mint. Even the few adjustments over the emperor's portrait seem to fit effortlessly into the design and do little to distract the eye. At present, this is the only example of the date awarded a Prooflike designation by NGC.
