William III gold Guinea 1697 AU55 NGC, KM498.1, S-3460, Schneider-492-493, Farey-400 (ER). Second Bust. An extremely rare Guinea date, inaugurating William IV's sole reign gold coinage following the death of Queen Mary in 1694. Represented by just a single other specimen in NGC's census (a VF) and in recent sales records, this is the first such piece we have presented, and was additionally a date altogether missing from the Terner Collection.
