Nicholas I bronze Specimen Novodel Kopeck 1830 EM-ΦΧ SP63 Brown PCGS, Ekaterinburg mint, KM-N496, Bit-H928 (R2), Brekke-79 (Rare). A rare and only infrequently encountered Novodel, representing a restrike of the original Pattern type, produced a year before mintage of the regular issue kopeck would begin in 1831; Brekke states this strike was issued for the 1870 Industrial Fair. Deep mahogany in hue, and an absolutely first-rate strike.
