Constans II, 641-668. Solidus (Gold, 19 mm, 4.45 g, 7 h), pseudo imperial coinage, a very early Arab-Byzantine imitation (?). N COHSTAN-TINV Crowned, draped and short-bearded bust of Constans II facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand. Rev. VICTORIA AVςЧ Cross potent on base and three steps. SB 953 ff. (for the prototype). Same dies as Leu Winterthur 7, 2020, 1932 (as an uncertain Germanic tribe), and Obolos 17, 2020, 822. A very interesting imitation. Good very fine.
