KINGS OF MACEDON. Perseus, 179-168 BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 5.71 g), Pella or Amphipolis. Macedonian shield, the central boss decorated with spiral whorl. Rev. BA (ΠΕΡ) Harpa; below, star flanked by two monograms. AMNG III/2, 11. HGC 3, 1097. Well-struck with an attractive green patina. Slightly oblong flan affecting the centering, otherwise, very fine.
