SASANIAN KINGS. Yazdgard I, 399-420. Drachm (Silver, 27 mm, 4.17 g, 3 h), AY (Eran-xvarrah-Sabuhr?). Bust of Yazdgard I to right on floral ornament, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent and korymbos. Rev. Fire altar with ribbons and two attendants flanking; crescent above pellet-in-crescent to left of flames, crescent above pellet to right of flames. SNS III Type Ib1/1a. Sunrise -. Well-centered and sharp strike. Light die-rust on obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
