An experienced collector of paintings once said that the way to tell a bad artist was the way he/she did hands. No matter how well done the rest of a body might be, if the hands looked like claws or flippers, well, the artist wasn't good! On this coin we have a splendid head of Claudius and a fine looking Zeus, BUT Zeus' left hand has only THREE fingers...and his feet look like hooves. Yet it still is a very nice coin!
