Anonymous, Circa 217-215 BC. Sextans (Bronze, 29.5 mm, 22.18 g, 3 h), Rome. She-wolf standing to right, head turned back, suckling the twins Remus and Romulus; in exergue, two pellets. Rev. ROMA Eagle standing right, holding flower in beak; above to left, two pellets. Crawford 39/3. RBW 107. Sydenham 95. A clear example with a dark olive-green patina. Very fine.
