Tetradrachm, new style coinage circa 186-185, AR 16.49 g. Head of Athena r., wearing triple-crested Attic helmet with Pegasus on bowl. Rev. A – ΘE Owl standing r. perched on amphora; in field, two monograms and in inner r., caps of the Dioscuri. All within laurel wreath. Svoronos pl. IV, 37. Of lovely style and with a pleasant tone, traces of double striking on obverse and
traces of redeposited silver on reverse, otherwise good very fine
