CILICIA, Tarsos. Mazaios. Satrap of Cilicia, 361/0-334 BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.43 g, 11h). Crowned figure of Artaxerxes III, in the guise of Baal of Tarsos, holding lotus flower and lotus-tipped scepter, seated right on throne with back terminating in swan's head / Lion attacking bull right. Casabonne Series 6; Göktürk –; Mildenberg, Kleingeld 39; SNG BN 426-8 (Myriandros). Toned, some porosity, light scratches and minor double strike on obverse, edge scuff. VF.
