INDIA, Early northern trade coinage. Narhan-Chirand-Muzaffarpur culture. Circa 440-400 BC. AR 32 Mashakas (24x18mm, 7.08 g). Type 2d (Geometric). Cut ingot with punchmarks: geometric symbol with ray and pellet-in-V above; additional various punchmarks / Blank, but for shroff mark. Cf. ATEC 2204-10 (for type). Iridescent toning, light marks. VF. An exceptional example of this type.
