CAROLINA D G MAG BR FR ET HIB REGINA, bust left / HIC · AMOR · HÆC · PATRIA, Caroline standing facing, head lowered slightly left; to left, Religion standing right, holding Bible; to right, Britannia standing left, holding spear and Union shield; CORON XI OCTOB/MDCCXXVII in two lines in exergue. Cf. MI 481/10; cf. Eimer 512. Toned, field marks, edge marks, evidence of having been placed in a bezel. VF. Rare.
