Rock crystal finger ring with gold-framed carnelian gemstone. Roman, 2nd-3rd centuries AD. Flared band widens at shoulders. Gold bezel set with an ovoid carnelian gemstone. Maximum interior diameter: 17mm. A few very tiny chips, otherwise well-preserved. Rare material for band.
