Obverse phrase: "Zarb-e dar-alsaltaneh e- Esfahan" (struk at the royal city of Isfahan) date under 1293, reverse; walking lion holding sword and the sun to the left, value of "50 diar" under the lion. Alaedini 36. Excellent clear strike for type. Isfahan since the Safavid era produced some of the finest AE civic coppers in the history of this type of coinage. Well struck. Choice EF. Reddish patina.
