BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hermaios, circa 105-90 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 9.12 g, 12 h), Indian standard, posthumous issue struck by Indo-Skythians near Kabul, circa 50-35. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ - EPMAIOY Diademed and draped bust of Hermaios to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa tratarasa Heramayasa' (in Karoshti) Zeus seated slightly to left, raising his right hand and holding scepter in his left; to left, monogram; to right, Karoshti letter 'ha'. Bopearachchi 14H. HGC 12, 300. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
