ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated left, holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield decorated with lion's head; behind, transverse spear; in inner left field, monogram; on throne, BY; in exergue, filleted trident to left. CNG 69 (2005), 253 (same dies). Seyrig, Monnaies, pl. 24, 14. SNG Berry 414. A beautiful piece of unusually fine style. Light die wear, otherwise, extremely fine.
