KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Stater (Gold, 18 mm, 8.62 g, 6 h), Lamsapkos, struck under Leonnatos, Arrhidaios, or Antigonos I Monophthalmos. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet decorated with a coiled serpent. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟY Nike standing front, head to left, with her wings spread, holding laurel wreath in her right hand and stylis in her left; to left, buckle above monogram of ΩA. Price P13. Bright and attractive. Several small scratches and edge marks and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
