Canada Bank of Canada $2 1935 BC-3 English Text PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Queen Mary graces the face side of this second denomination of the 1935 series, which is desirable and scarce. Issued in 1935, this series was short lived, as King George V passed away in 1936, which initiated the creation of a new banknote series to reflect the passage of one monarch to the next. In 1937, these notes were replaced and most examples were redeemed in the years to follow.
