Hong Kong Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp. 500 Dollars 31.10.1973 Pick 186acts KNB75CT Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. This handsome design was issued in 1973, replacing the large format Sir Thomas Jackson note, which circulated from 1953 until this note was issued. "M" is the first prefix for this new design. Green and blue hues are simply striking compared to the brown hues seen on the issued notes. Typical mount remnants, red overprints, and hole punched cancellations are mentioned for accuracy. We have not offered this type in the past. This is only the fourth Color Trial Specimen to be offered in a traceable major auction since since 2013.
