Macau Banco Nacional Ultramarino 5 Patacas 1.1.1924 Pick 8cts KNB9ACT Front and Back Color Trial Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net (2). Purple hues have been added in lieu of green to create a stunning visual appeal on this fantastic and rare Macanese Specimen. Each side of the note was prepared in uniface fashion, to be mounted for presentation. As such, mounting remnants are seen on each blank back side, which does not detract from the overall appearance. Thomas de la Rue ovals are seen on each Specimen. The first Color Trial we have offered, the notes are quite rare and very pretty. This type is a bit underrated. The vast majority of printed examples of this note were overprinted for Timor, leaving true Macau notes very rare.
