Sinkiang. Kuang-hsü Sar (Tael) AH 1325 (1907) VF Details (Cleaning) PCGS, Kashgar mint, KM-Y26, L&M-744, WS-1223 or 1225, Hsien-Chang-114. Double Hui calendar variety with date to right and mint to left on obverse (reverse as holdered). By all indications a very rare type in all grades, though only very rarely located outside of the VF range. Several varieties exist for the issue involving the placement of the mint and date, design of the wreath, and the arrangement of the numerals in the date, including one with the J-shaped digit placed between the numerals 2 and 3 (this coin), and one with it after the 3. Although Wang Chun Li generally prices both similarly, the former seems to occur much more infrequently on the market.
