Sinkiang. Republic Sar (Tael) Year 1 (1912) AU Details (Scratch) PCGS, Tihwa mint, KM-Y42a, L&M-833, Kann-1250, Hsien-Chang-225. Four strips of arabesques variety. The more common variety from this date, possessing boldly struck arabesques amidst pearl-gray surfaces and veiled in a soft golden glow, the reverse seen with more icy tones throughout, and both sides displaying prominent scratches as noted by the PCGS holder.
