SNG BM Black Sea-1481-3; HGC-7, 399. Agreos, magistrate. Obverse: Head of nymph left, with hair in sakkos; Reverse: Sea-eagle standing left, wings spread, on dolphin left; AΓ[PEΩΣ] to upper right. Rather conservatively graded in the opinion of this cataloger, the present specimen--clearly of fine style and elegant artistry--offers a deep cabinet tone and a charming, bold strike overall.
