GREECE: 5 para church biglietti of the Church of Saint Athanasios in Doxato of Drama. Biglietti were issued mostly in Greek territories of the Ottoman Empire after the financial collapse, caused by the Russian-turkish war and apparently followed the first paper grossi of Banque Imperial Ottoman 1876-77. Very Fine. (Hellas unlisted). Ex Tzamalis collection.
