Jose I 75 Reis 1755-R XF Details (Mount Removed) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM176.2, LMB-248. One of only three dates for which this popular "J Series" 75 Reis is available from the Rio mint, and only the fourth example we have handled, with this piece appearing to far outrank the Paulistana specimen we offered in 2010. Though some light cleaning is evident, we have been able to find no evidence of the noted mount removal.
