A popular and elusive issue from Minas Gerais with a definitively embossed M mintmark, a feature lacking on many other examples from this mint, which struck silver coinage for only a tiny fraction of its production history. Rarely encountered this fine, especially having been struck so perfectly as to allow the reverse legend to align perfectly with the host legend.
