Medaille Militaire: LG 15/12/1919, p15581; CAG 25/3/1920, p393 to L/Cpl Christopher H.Jobson, Australian Army Cyclist Corps (unique award for Cyclist Corps).

Christopher Henry Jobson, labourer, age 19, born at Melbourne, Vic; Enl.15Jan1915 at Melbourne, Vic; Emb.06May1915; to Gallipoli 05Aug1915; WIA 22Aug1915 SW head caused by explosion of bomb at Lone Pine; trf to Cyclist Corps 20Mar1916; TOS 1st Anzac Cyclist Corps 12May1916; to L/Cpl 31Jul1917; to T/Cpl 01Oct1918; RTA 27Apr1919; Disch.09Aug1919; Died 27Jan1932 at Eaglehawk, Vic from heat apoplexy and heart failure; widow with 5 young children applied for assistance towards cost of funeral but this was rejected by the State Board on 11Jan1933. Following this an Appeal was lodge against the decision - result unknown.
