INDIA, Sultanates, Sultans of Kashmir, AE Kaserah, a large group from a hoard (46), mostly with some green patination, most appear to be issues of Muhammad Shah c.1484-1537, (cf.KM.G&G K46); others earlier of Hasan Shah (1472-1484) (two types illustrated), some are later; Afghanistan, Taimur shah (A.H. 1186-1207, A.D. 1772-1793), Kashmir mint, probably from a small hoard, AE dams (16), mostly year 13, AH 1201, (KM.561) (one illustrated year 15); Hindu rajas of Kashmir, Kalasa, (A.D. 1063-1089); AE staters (8), obv. Goddess Lakshmi seated facing, flanked by Nagari letters, rev king standing sacrificing at altar, with Nagari legend, (cf.Mitchiner 183-184, one illustrated). Very good - very fine, in descriptive packets, with much duplication. (70)
