Athena Itonia advancing to right, brandishing spear and holding shield, on sides **QESSA LWN*, above across **GOR-GIOU*, either side of figure **QE-MI/ST-O*, (cf.S.2232, BCD 882.1var. [variety Gorgias name in nominative], HGC 4, 210). Toned, portrait extremely fine/good very fine, some roughness on the reverse, a very rare variant.
