SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochos III `the Great', (222-187 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, 27mm, (17.01 g), Antioch on the Orontes Mint, issued Series 3, 204-197 B.C., obv. diademed head right of Antiochos III, filleted border, rev. Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, holding an arrow, and resting on bow, to right **BASILEWS* to left ANTIOXOY, U/P monogram to outer left, (cf.S.6933, SC 1044.1, Newell WSN 1089, SMA 13, SNG Spaer 538, HGC 9, 447u). Nearly very fine, scarce.
