SYRIA, Kingdom of, Demetrios I, (162-155 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.79 g), Antioch mint, issued year SE 158 = 155/4 B.C., obv. diademed head of Demetrios to right within laurel wreath border, rev. Tyche seated to left with leg of throne a winged monster, holds sceptre and cornucopiae, to right **BASILEWS*, to left **DHMHTRIOU* **SWTHROS*, HNP in exergue, monograms extreme left, (S.7015, SC 1641.3c, SNG Spaer 1288 var, SMA Newell 103, CSE 150, HGC 9, 798). Lightly toned, rough in reverse field, otherwise good very fine.
