HGC-2, 1538; cf. SNG ANS-862. Obverse: Head of Persephone left, wearing grain wreath and necklace; poppy(?) to right; Reverse: Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving biga right. Boldly struck and quite dazzling, this alluring specimen presents tremendous eye appeal and stands as a rather difficult and RARE type, especially when encountered so beautifully preserved.
