Obverse: Female head (Demeter or Persephone) right, wearing grain wreath; Reverse: Labyrinth in maeander pattern; five pellets in square pattern at center. fairly well handled on the obverse, but an otherwise pleasing and well centered specimen, featuring an alluring cabinet tone and the noted countermark below the chin on the obverse. A RARE and interesting type.
